n.o.madic tribal was honored to be asked to perform at the New Orleans Museum of Art's grand post-Katrina reopening, entitled the HeART of New Orleans.

The celebration lasted three days and included a wealth of performances by local musicians, theatre troupes, performance artists, and dancers. A few of the highlights were shows by the Soul Rebels, Panorama Jazz, the Jason Moore Trio, the Delfeay Marsalis Quartet, and the Imagination Movers. We were honored to share the stage with these--and more!--great artists.

We arrived to an already gathered crowd, shining with familiar faces...many of whom we'd not seen since before the storm. Many thanks to all who came--especially Liz who brought us congratulatory flowers and who took photos of the event and Anna Marie who's a long-time n.o.madic supporter and who took this video footage of our performance.

NOMA hopes to make this show an annual celebration, so look for us there again next year.
