DramaRama 2007 :: Contemporary Arts Center, New Orleans
In Feb 2005, n.o.madic tribal performed a choreography at DramaRama on which served as a tribute to Oya and the power of water and wind in our Crescent City. That fall, Katrina washed us all to the ends of the world, and while we came back to New Orleans, most of our students did not. For 2007's DramaRama, we did a tribute to land, to sand, to Earth....to being grounded, to learning to shift underneath the waters, but stay put. May this year be a dry one for New Orleans.
